The blood runs down His face, the whip slashes deep into the muscles of His back, legs and exposed flesh, the people spit and curse Him, He is beaten and forced to carry a heavy load on a dying body, and then hung on a cross to die for you... Jesus deserves to be my hero. He sacrificed Himself, gave Himself to His father so that His father would crush Him for His pleasure, literally being the sacrifical lamb for our souls, without a complaint, without a sneer, without an unloving word to anyone! There is no one else besides the Father Himself that deserves our praise, our lives, our obediance, our love.
